Planet Mining

All planets in Dark Galaxies can be mined for the rare mineral Duterium Refined (DTF). This rare material is what is used to fuel the many fighting and transport ships around the galaxy.

The Mining Operations section of the game is where you will perform all your mining operations. It is here that you can create a mining deck. A mining deck can consist of 3 mining tools plus an optional mining manager.

The mining manager can be any 3D character card from your wallet that is not currently defending assets, the addition of this character to your deck will aid in your mining operations by reducing your total cooldown time and increasing your mining profits.

When you create a mining deck and save it, the cards you allocate to that particular deck will be locked against the mining contract ready for deployment to a planet. This will mean that those cards WILL NOT show in your Atomic Assets inventory and cannot be sold, transferred or burnt until you remove them from the deck they are contained in and reappear in your wallet.

Once you have built your mining decks you will need to travel to a planet and assign each mining deck to an available mining slot, each planet has 10 mining slots.

There is no cost the first time you assign a deck to a planet but if you wish to move the deck to a different planet later there will be a cost of 5 DTF. There is also a cost of 5 DTF to disassemble a deck if you choose to withdraw mining tools from the contract or change the tools in your deck.

All mining tools have a limited number of uses or “charges”, for example the Mining Drone 1 has 24 charges which means it can mine 24 times before it needs refueling.

Refueling cards are only produced by players and sold on the WAX Marketplace. A player holding a plot of land and which has built a refinery on it can produce Fuel. Fuel is produced by mixing Dark Plasma and Duterium Refined together. Dark Plasma can be claimed by the land holder on a daily basis. 3D characters or “Mining Managers” do not need refueling.

Mining tools also have a cooldown which is the length of time that must pass before the tool can be used again and the mining power which affects how much DTF the tool will produce when mining.

The mining tool cooldown along with the planet cooldown will determine when a mining tool may again perform a mining operation.

The mining component of the game can be accessed from https://darkgalaxies.io and is mobile friendly.
